We are an independent, industrial fire & rescue service who offer a range of fire protection services and operational fire appliances. We are able to operate in an array of challenging situations.
Starting with one fire appliance in 2010, as the demand for our services began to increase so did the need for more vehicles, equipment and bases to operate from; RFRS now have a diverse fleet with different capabilities.
Our Operational Staff delivers front line services to the client, including event and industrial fire cover. RFRS have a strong network of Support Staff who work in admin, human resources and vehicle maintenance to ensure our operations run smoothly.
Riverside Fire and Rescue Service personnel ensure their continued development by attending bi-monthly training days, which encompass classroom based subjects through to live fire training. By undertaking these sessions, a professional standard is maintained at all times.

We raised a total of £1250 which given the circumstances was fantastic. We will put this, together with the other money raised this year, to make a £5000 donation towards resurfacing the outside play area for the children.”

“Just a thank you email to you and all your men for your fire demonstration that you organised for our fete and Classic Cars and Bike Show on the 9th July at Heathside, South Darenth. We really appreciate your demonstration being shown twice in place of one of our acts which did not appear. Many thanks for all your effort. The fete was really successful, raising over £4500, which will be distributed to the Ellenor Lions Hospices and our local charities.”
